OBAMA to take VA health benefits from our soldiers….

One has to wonder, exactly what does it take for a completely idiotic policy to be scrapped a mere 24 hours after it’s seedy late night dark and dank behind closed doors back alley inception? Well, one doesn’t have to wonder any longer, because now we have the answer. What exactly am I talking about? Quite honestly, you may have not even heard about. Why? Because this was one of those pieces of legislation that the powers that be on capitol hill wanted to vote on and pass undetected without even a blip on the screen. OK, so what was it already? Well, did you by chance hear that Obama and his cohorts proposed legislation that would strip away VA health benefits and require veterans to attempt to obtain and then rely on their own private health insurance for injuries and disabilities suffered on the battle field? You think I’m kidding here?… Well I’m not. Obama and his extremely fiscally mindful regime (yes..that is sarcasm you detect) decided that they could save a whopping $580 million or so by removing long term health benefits from those veterans who were injured in combat and require long term health care. This is the very SAME administration who not only unilaterally passed a $787 Billion (with a B) spending spree despite the underwhelming support of MOST reasonable Americans, and with a mere 3 votes from the other side of the aisle (read sell-outs) AND also passed an Omnibus spending bill that included over 9,000 earmarks with out batting an eyelash. And now, in a very lame and very late attempt to appear concerned about controlling spending they have decided that they would take a necessity from the very men and women who daily fight and die for our freedoms? Does this concern anyone, or are you all still in the 4th month of your Obamamania tryptophan induced coma? And now, after so much dissent, a slip in his numbers, poor polling data and a blow to his over-inflated ego, Obama has decided it wasn’t such a good idea afterall.…wow, ya think? Look, he only backtracked because American soldiers and their families, friends and supporters all over the globe were in an outrage, and rightfully so (righteous indignation – finally!). And SO WHAT if he did ultimately backtrack, does that really mean anything? Yeah, I guess it does, it means that he will float whichever way the winds of praise are blowing, and will do whatever is necessary to remain as popular as possible with as many people as possible, but that’s about all it means. The very fact that he would even propose such an atrocity in the first place says a lot about the man…it speaks volumes. So, are you rethinking your support for Obama yet? If you aren’t then you are still obviously blissfully inverted…backside in the breeze, head in the sand…do you like how all that blood rushing to your head feels? Please, just wake up already, this isn’t change for the better, this is the road to destruction. If you don’t see the innumerous problems with this administration, if you won’t speak out against this idiocy, if you aren’t part of the solution, then quite frankly (there is no other way to put it)…you too are part of the problem.

 

Kill the messenger, that way you don’t have to argue the facts…

Well, here we are again… Yeah, it’s been a little while. It’s funny you know, a lot of people have been asking me,”when are you going to write your next blog – what are you waiting for?” Well, to be honest, there is almost TOO much material out there, and picking just one has been a large part of my problem. Let’s see; I was just in a very informative and at moments heated debate over Prop. 8 that must have gone at least 300 responses back and forth, there is the whole issue that Obama is prepared to take the rights away from medical professionals to refuse treatment based upon religious or moral objection, there is the fact that global warming has all but been completely debunked and Gore is even recanting much of what he had previously asserted in light of the actual facts, there are ALL the new spending bills that are seemingly drafted daily and threaten to tear the very fabric of our nation, and then there is the broader spectrum issue of liberal ideology versus conservative ideology. Yes, these are all topics I will tackle in the near future, but choosing has not really been my main hindrance in writing. There is another reason…

The real issue here is that I am just plain sick of the approach by the left to shut us conservatives up. Look, I can handle disagreement…I even invite it, obviously. But the emotional retorts and name calling just need to stop. We conservatives are called hate mongers when we speak out against illegal immigration or gay marriage. We are called war mongers when we advocate the protection of our borders and sovereign land and call for military action in response to terrorism and all threats to our national security. We are called protectionists when we want the money from TARP and all the other outrageous spending bills to be reserved for the employment of ACTUAL American citizens. We are called sexists when we choose to defend the right of an unborn child over the whims and selfishness of the woman who chose to get pregnant in the first place and wants to now kill that baby due to the inconvenient nature of it’s existence. We are called eco-haters when we choose to believe that global warming is a fabricated crisis which was created simply for the purpose of furthering the environmentalists agenda. And finally, we are called obstructionists when we point out the obvious pitfalls and historically proven shortcomings and failures of the liberally propagated socialist agenda or when we use historical evidence to prove that socialism simply does not work. When we are labeled, when we are vilified, when we are marginalized, then the left believes that whatever comes out of our mouths is of no consequence. Prove them WRONG! We cannot be silent or silenced any longer…

If we are to correct these wrongs, to effect change, to see our republic restored, and to once again see America flourish as a nation, we MUST speak against these destructive liberal/socialistic ideologies. If we are counter-attacked then we must be willing to take one for the team. We have been silent far too long. When we chose to sit idly by, when did not want to “offend”, to step on toes, to become the very same loud-mouths that we saw picketing and marching and protesting, we in effect neutered our ability to be the voice of reason. We thought of ourselves as somehow “above that”, it was below us to protest, to speak out, to demand that our rights be protected. Well my friends, we were WRONG. We can no longer think ourselves “above it”…we must enter the trenches and demand that truth and justice prevail. Silence does not create a call to action, it does nothing to protect our rights, it will never resonate over the shouting misinformed masses… Can you not see that now? Yes, it is true that truth will always come to light…eventually. But I ask, are we to simply wait this out and in the meantime watch as it all comes crumbling down? I say NO! We must stand and be heard, be bold, speak up and speak out, for if we are not willing to truly fight for our freedoms then perhaps we rightfully deserve to lose them. Do I care if I am labeled? No. Do I care if I lose friends? No, they were likely never my friends to begin with. Do I care that speaking the truth may ultimately lead to my fall? Absolutely not, and I do not believe that it will. My friends, why should I cling to a life that I am unwilling to be passionate about…unwilling to actually live? Why should any of us? If you are willing to simply accept what others are willing to allow you to have, or how others are willing to allow you to live. If you will only say what they are willing to allow you to say, and believe what they are willing to allow you to believe, then you are nothing more than a trained animal or well mastered puppet…when you are locked in your cage or placed in your box you are where you belong. If you cannot enjoy the personal freedoms granted and ensured to each of us by our forefathers as expressed by the ORIGINAL intent of the The Constitution of this once great nation…the very freedoms also bestowed upon us by The Almighty, then what value does life as an American citizen truly have?

This is a call to action. For every man and woman tired of their values and principles being overrun by an over-reaching government, for every soul seeking the right to give freely of their own charitable heart as opposed to governmentally mandated welfare, for every person worried for the future of this country and their children…be bold and be heard. Stand by your convictions, be passionate, fight for your freedoms and vote against those who would take your freedoms away. If we cower, if we remain silent, if we think that we as individuals cannot make a difference, then we concede defeat and we will lose our republic…we will lose our freedoms and America forever. Let us not allow that to happen…

 

Welfare is NOT charity…anyone who believes otherwise needs a reality check.

Welfare is a method by which a bureaucracy or government in the position of authority, privilege and power can gain control over another group of lower privilege and power by creating a situation where said group becomes increasingly and inescapably dependent on the bureaucracy for the main staples that support it’s very existence. How could anyone ever consider this scenario a charitable one? When TRUE charity is practiced it’s main goal is to empower the individual in a manner in which they are free to make choices of their own, free to become independent and free to flourish. Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime…. Welfare by contrast does NOT want individuals to flourish, for to allow such independence is counterproductive to the growth and maintenance of the welfare system. Welfare MUST strive for and promote complete dependence or it will eventually become obsolete and unnecessary. If you take a look at ANY modern welfare program, it is actually easier to maintain status quo and stay dependent on the system than it is to leave the system and achieve independence…this is not by mistake, it is by design. If this were not the case then the governing bureaucracy would lose it’s position of authority over those whom it was designed to control in the first place. The ultimate goal of a welfare promoting and propagating bureaucracy is to evolve the current society into a socialistic cast (socioeconomic class based) society, which is even more dependant upon the upper privileged class and is less capable of caring for it’s own individual and group needs. This socialistic society is of course ultimately concerned with complete and blind compliance…oppression is the goal. And they know that ultimately they can rely on this compliance because no one in their right mind would cause a disruption that might result in the withholding of the very staples upon which they rely in order to survive…in essence, who would willingly bite the hand that feeds them? Charity bears NO resemblance to welfare, and in fact, the two are the complete antithesis if each other. To make the claim that state sponsored welfare, dare I say financial compliance forced upon the populous via excessive taxation and flat out thievery, is a form of charity, let alone Christian charity, is a complete misguided and ill-founded fallacy…it is in fact sheer ignorance. Charity as commanded and expected by our Maker is meant as a display of obedience, yes, but more so it is meant as an expression of a compassionate and charitable heart. Government mandated welfare does NOT display the characteristics of a charitable heart, it is in fact nothing more than a form of a redistribution of wealth meant to create a complacent populous who no longer strive for independence, freedom, greatness, or achievement. Welfare is simply meant to further the agenda of a liberally based, for the most part, godless form of government. And I will take this one step further, government mandated welfare IN FACT robs us of the blessing bestowed upon us by the Almighty in response to the charity and compassion we have learned to willingly and cheerfully express and display out of a will to please God and to love His creation. For any man claiming to be a man after Gods own heart to claim otherwise is in complete contradiction to his first claim, that he loves Christ.

Say it ain’t so Joe…but it is. Yes, this will surely shut us ALL up now…won’t it? Well, truth be told, it could… You don’t think it will ever happen? Think again. It is no longer a matter of IF…it’s a matter of when. And in all honesty, it won’t be too long…a few weeks and THIS blog, as well as many others could look VERY different. Will they simply pull the plug? No…probably not. Instead they will “FILTER” content…in very much the same way that the government already does in Communist China. Yes, the technology to do so exists, and yes, they will use it to create a “fairness” like none other before. Exactly what will this “fairness” look like? Glad you asked…

• First off, for every negative comment (about democrats) there will also HAVE to be a positive one. If a positive one does not exist, the negative one will be deleted, stricken out…gone.

• For every piece of evidence that may appear UNFAVORABLE (read against liberal ideology), there will need to be a FAVORABLE explanation…even if one really doesn’t exist. Once again, if there is NO favorable explanation, the unsavory truth (about a democrat or the liberal agenda) will be eliminated…as in,”The truth? You can’t handle the truth!”

• For every time a guffaw or foot-in-mouth comment is quoted (as in Biden being an idiot, or Pelosi stumbling over words, or Obama backtracking a promise) there will need to be an explanation that allows them to save face, look good, or negates their original idiocy.

You see folks, this is nothing more than BIG BROTHER…it’s just 25 years late. They will be watching, and you better be careful or you may be red flagged, questioned, audited, sued, etc… You think not? Then you still have your head in the sand. The talk is everywhere…all over the airwaves, in the NOT SO MAINSTREAM (not liberally biased) media, and on the internet. This in not fiction, this is being discussed on capitol hill as I write this blog. The THOUGHT-POLICE are ready to pounce…comply and assimilate or face the consequences. But we have freedom of speech you say? The First Amendment…right? Yes, we do, and to placate the masses they won’t tamper with that…instead they will “FILTER” content and mandate that you say GOOD things to balance out the BAD things. Hey, sit there and call me a loon…we’ll see what you have to say in six months.

So, why aren’t they targeting broadcast television? Hmmm…well, if you have to ask then quite frankly, you are either part of the problem or just plain oblivious. Because honestly, ANYONE paying attention KNOWS that the mainstream media is liberally biased and IN THE POCKET of Obama and his capitol hill cohorts. For every 30 or so positive things said about Obama before the election they had a handful of positive things to say about McCain. I mean, COME ONE! This is why you were all so buffaloed into voting for this inept freshman senator in the first place! The sold out media peddling their biased wares, perpetuating the liberal mantra, repeating the Obama press-approved sound bites over and over again, propagandizing at every opportunity created a frenzy which was then CONSUMED by MILLIONS of insatiable mindless drones listening like the liberal lemmings they really are. Can liberals actually THINK for themselves? Well, if they COULD they would be called CONSERVATIVES…so, I guess not.

Look, if you want to have to either agree or shut up, if you want to fear for your right to speak, think, deliberate and disagree, if you want to live under a police state, a totalitarian regime, under BIG BROTHERS watchful and all seeing eye, then sit there and do nothing. But, if you care, if you value your freedoms, if you don’t think that government is the end all, or always right, if you want to be part of the solution and not the problem, then SAY SOMETHING, DO SOMETHING…DISAGREE for goodness sake. Don’t let this happen. If we are NOTHING else, we are Americans, and last time I checked that was SUPPOSED to mean that we are FREE! Do not let Fearless Leader Obama become the next Kim Jong-il…this is what he wants, but this is NOT what we have to allow. Stand and be heard, or sit on your hands, do nothing, and watch the Land of the Free slip away into oblivion because you would not stand bold and be brave.

 

WHY IS OBAMA BACKPEDALING? Talk about covering your backside…the silver tongued master speaks.

Wasn’t it just a week ago or so in a rant in front of cameras, and then a few days ago, and then just yesterday again at his first press conference of his presidency that the man, the myth, the legend OBAMA was claiming “economic catastrophe this” and “financial disaster that” in order to fear-monger everyone into believing that we HAD to act on this THIEVERY STIMULUS SPENDING PACKAGE now? Hasn’t he said repeatedly that if we do not act now then things will undoubtedly get worse in the months to come? If we take him at his word, the implication is that he is 1) CONFIDENT that his stimulus/spending spree is definitely going to fix the problem and 2) this fix is going to have an IMMEDIATE effect.

So let’s address the first one. If in fact fearless leader (lest we forget genius and hero also) OBAMA is confident that his spending spree (aka: smash-n-grab loot fest) is going to work, why then did he back pedal during the press conference stating that if in 6 months or a year from now this didn’t actually work then we will (as if I am on his side in all of this) know that this was the wrong decision. Wait omnipotent one…aren’t you sure that you’re going to save us here? Don’t you have the master plan? You assured us that you did… So why is he backpedaling? TWO reasons… A) he knows it won’t work because the intent was never to fix the problem in the first place, it is to implement 20 years of backlogged liberal pet projects in one fell swoop under the guise of fixing the economy, and B) he wants to ONCE AGAIN lower expectations. (as he has done multiple times so far) What happened to the BIG GAME you talked during the campaign oh silver tongued fearless one? Why is he NOW publicly saying this? Because he is premptively inoculating himself against failure so that when he HAS to and WILL say in six months ,”see, I told you it might not work” he won’t look like a complete fool. And as far as point TWO above goes…OBAMAS implication that this SPENDING SPREE will have an immediate effect?…in all actuality he already KNOWS that it won’t. How does he know this? It has already been estimated, stated and confirmed based on historical data (you DO know what history is right OBAMA?) over and over again by multiple experienced economists and knowledgeable experts alike (much smarter than this glorified community organizer) that the funds will not even be approved, allocated or spent for YEARS to come..up to 3 years or more in fact. Not months, but years. But Bill, didn’t fearless leader OBAMA say we need to ACT NOW? Glad you asked, why yes he did. But only in an effort to create a sense of urgency and fear so as to fool all of us into accepting the spending bill proposed, as is…no scrutiny and no changes. Sure, some of the pet projects have since been eliminated (thank you REPUBLICANS for sticking to your guns…finally), but when OBAMA says there are NO earmarks in this THIEVERY PACKAGE it is completely false. He is playing the semantics game here and when HE says “earmarks” he is using the term in correlation to INDIVIDUAL interests..as in, where ONE congressman or woman, one lobbyist or one proponent wanted an item. Where even only TWO people mutually agree on a spending appropriation, he is NOT referring to those as earmarks. Do you see now? He uses the term “earmarks” in it’s purest form to hide the truth. Shoot, this reminds me of Slick Willy and the meaning of “is”. Is THIS change we can believe in? How about the type of LIES we are used to? In truth there are many pet projects still included…BILLIONS of dollars worth in fact. 

By contrast, a simple cut or elimination of income tax for the next 6 months to a year would have an IMMEDIATE effect, cost less and save nearly TWICE as many jobs. The democrat sponsored TARP package is not economic relief, it is pay back, it is special interest, it is pet projects and it is redistribution of wealth…essentially it is 100% SOCIAL ENGINEERING. I’m all teary eyed, Marx would be so proud…

All I want is for you guys to start paying attention…stop simply listening to the hype and biased mainstream media. If you act like lemmings all heading for a cliff you’ll regret taking the jump, and I guarantee there is NO parachute on this one. If you decide to stay ignorant you ought to be ashamed…the future of our children and their children are at stake…generations will reap the costs of this foolish obliviousness. Wake up!

 

OBAMA wants to assume control of the ELECTORAL COLLEGE….seriously.

Thats right, fearless leader Obama wants control of the census moved to the White House… Does anyone know why? Well first off, if you haven’t heard about this there’s a very good reason why…the liberal media doesn’t want you to. And yes, Obama wants it to happen with little or no public outcry…but make no mistake, if this does happen it will not end well…it will change the face of politics and democracy (what’s left of it) for generations to come.

The constitution sates that every 10 years there will be a census taken across the country. The purpose of which is to understand populations shifts, locate both growth and decline, to be able to allocate resources where they are needed, and to change district lines if necessary. Of course, the district lines do carry with them a political implication…they also change the electoral college. Anyone see where this is going? For as long as the census has been taken it has been in essence a record keeping clerical job…completely non political in nature, and rightfully so. It has been an objective tool, based upon ACTUAL numbers of ACTUAL people…no fudging the numbers or guessing at where people MAY be living. Well, that could ALL change with a decision made by Obama to have Rham Emanuel take over the responsibility for and the implementation of the census, and oversight of (dare I say CONTROL of) the resulting records. Never before has the census been politicized, but the benefits that could be gained by anyone who actually DID politicize the control of it, and then subsequently used those numbers to their advantage are tremendous. It’s no wonder that a democrat would be the one calling for such an unnecessary and unique change to a system that has worked with little or no problem for so many years prior.

Obama claims that the census is of great interest to him… really? hmmm, there’s really no secret why. He also proposes that INSTEAD of taking an actual head count of the population, he prefers that we use a mathematical algorithm and statistical data also coupled with “educated guesses” (I suppose) to ESTIMATE the population, density in specific areas, changes in living, etc.. This of course is ALSO unconstitutional, as the constitution states that each person will be counted…but do you think Obama really cares? No…he doesn’t. If he can change the census in the favor of the democrats (which he will), he can change the electorate and thusly change the outcome of any and all future elections. This is premeditated election tampering plain and simple. Wake up people…comfortably numb just isn’t going to cut it. Stand up for your right to fair representation, stand up for the law of the land…for our constitution, or soon you will have NO rights…and you will be made to SIT DOWN and SHUT UP.

OBAMA OUT OF SORTS? If you can’t stand the heat, you probably don’t belong in the kitchen…

Looks like some on capitol hill can’t stand the fact that everyone doesn’t agree with their brand of politics. I guess it would be hard if you were used to nothing but accolades and approval your entire career and then suddenly had to face some adversity. Look at Obamas career… loved by his liberal friends and colleagues at Harvard “He’s so inspiring”, cheered on by the Chicago Political Thugs he rubbed elbows with while “organizing” there, fellow liberal senators thought he was the greatest thing since vegemite and hummus, and why not? In fact, he hasn’t really ever faced much opposition, never really had to impress anyone but the liberal cohorts he has surrounded himself with throughout his political career…how hard could that really be? If you think about it, he has really ONLY ever impressed liberals…never conservatives, and not even ALL liberals for that matter. So it’s no wonder that he seems flustered and agitated as he addresses the nation regarding the opposition he’s encountering with this boondoggle, bloated, pork belly, earmark ridden, sorry excuse for a spending (pseudo-stimulus) package. What exactly did he expect? Cumbaya on capitol hill? If he can’t handle opposition by the 2nd week of his administration, on a bill he will surely pass, is there any hope that he will be able to handle overwhelming opposition? Because it WILL happen…and I believe he will somewhat rant and rave…similar to what he did just yesterday in front of the cameras. This guy is in over his head….

And speaking of opposition, I don’t ask ANY of you to read this, I don’t force it, and it wouldn’t bother me if you completely ignored it. It’s your choice either way…right? And wether or not you DO choose to read it, I would expect that we are all adults here and as such we can handle a healthy debate on topics about which we disagree. And though some of the debates here have become a little intense, for the most part they have remained civil and ended well. What baffles me is this; I have had a number of “friends” simply delete me as a friend because they obviously could not stand associating with anyone that poses opposition to their world view. Well good golly, grow a backbone. It takes a very narrow minded individual to decide that they can only stand to hear THEIR side of the argument…that they can only associate themselves with like-minded lemmings. If you have no interest in expanding your knowledge base and trying to understand and/or simply tolerate alternative viewpoints then why not just stick your head in the sand right now? It amazes me that those who constantly preach tolerance are the least tolerant of all. This is not conjecture or opinion, I say this from personal experience, actions from others completely represent and reinforce exactly this point. The individuals, about 15 at this point so far, who have deleted me as a friend were ALL of opposing viewpoints (read liberal) and obviously just couldn’t handle opposition. Does anyone see this as even remotely telling? If you surround yourself with mocking birds when do you ever hear anything that might cause you to think critically…to think for yourself? Where is the open mindedness we conservatives are browbeat with day in and day out? It’s all so one sided…so hypocritical. 

Let’s agree to disagree, what is wrong with that sentiment? You may say something that might cause another person to take pause and rethink a prior conviction, and likewise, you may hear something that causes you to take pause. Don’t be a hypocrite, don’t preach what you have no intention of practicing. Don’t obamify intelligent debate…don’t do what obama would do…(couldn’t resist) Okay, so there you go, welcome to cawfee tawk….discuss… (this should be a good one)

 

Day 14: RAPE, PILLAGE & PLUNDER…and it has only just begun….

I know it’s only day 14 of this administration, but look at how much we have accomplished in such a short period of time. At this rate the systematic dismantling of every capitalist ideal and the socioeconomic stability of our country should be complete by day 200. It almost sounds like a Dr. Evil plot, but these aren’t paid actors and we can’t afford to miss this show by any means, unfortunately this IS reality folks. Can any REASONABLE minded individual out there really look at the situation and not see what is wrong with this picture? Lets take a closer look shall we…

Taxes… According to the Vice President, in his own words, Joe Biden stated that,” it is our patriotic duty to pay taxes.” This statement was meant as a justification in response to the concern that this administration would raise taxes. Now, even though I take issue with the whole premise, let’s just set that aside and focus on his words…patriotic duty to pay taxes. Hmmm, wouldn’t that then apply to ALL Americans? I mean, EVERY single one of us? But wait, it appears that it doesn’t. In fact, it isn’t really all that important, that is, if you are running for office or looking for a position on Obamas cabinet. I mean, not only is Charles Rangle, chairman of the house ways and means committee, the very man who is responsible for writing and implementing tax code, a known AND admitted tax evader, so is Timothy Geithner, TREASURY secretary (let’s INVITE the coyote into the chicken coop shall we), and NOW Tom Dashcle, secretary of health. So, in essence, it is only a patriotic duty IF you are an underling citizen, not an ELITE member of the Obamelot presidency. But wait folks, the hypocrisy doesn’t end there…we have come so much further in such a short period of time.

Remember WAY back when, 8 or so days ago, when Obama made such a HUGE deal out of the fact that NO lobbyists could work in his administration? Anyone recall that? I know it’s so long ago now that memories fade, but yes, he DID set that policy, even bragged about how his administration would have the STRICTEST regulations regarding this matter. Well guess what, I guess his rules can only be broken by…you guessed it, himself. Because so far, in this short period of time, he has chosen not one but TWO lobbyists, men who will CONTINUE to lobby, to serve on his cabinet… Are you surprised? Because I’m not…but wait again, it gets EVEN better than this.

Does anyone recall, go way, WAY BACK into your long term memory now…say about 8 weeks ago or so, when Obama PROMISED unequivocally that he would NOT sign ANY legislation containing earmarks? I know, I am oh so sorry for taxing your memory here, but think back. OK, so do you remember that? Well gee, I guess we missed the under-the-breath, fingers crossed behind the back footnote that must have gone something like this;” This promise offered for a limited time only, is meant as a campaign trail promise ONLY, one which I DO NOT intend to keep AFTER I’m elected, offer expires soon, act now.” Well, at least HALF of us missed that footnote, the other half of us KNEW very well that it wasn’t worth the air it was breathed into, because lo and behold, no way, can’t be, here is a HUGE spending package (NOT a stimulus package as they would like us to believe) choc full of EARMARKS. Shuudddup! No really, take a look: $100 million for Acorn, $400 million for HIV and chlamydia testing, The Smithsonian is targeted to receive $150 million, $81 billion for Medicaid, $36 billion for expanded unemployment benefits, $20 billion for food stamps, and $83 billion for the earned income credit for people who don’t pay income tax in the first place, $1.5 billion (with a “B”) for a “carbon-capturing contest”…and the list goes on and on. This is essentially a list of the “who’s who” of the groups and organizations that voted Obama and his fellow democratic cohorts into office. This isn’t a BAIL OUT…this is a PAY BACK!!!!

So, if you aren’t sufficiently sickened by any or all of this, you are either a cadaver or such a blatantly, blinded and buffaloed bleeding heart that there is NO getting through to you no matter what. What Obama and the lefties are doing to this country is nothing short of criminal. It will not only affect and alter our financial well being in this country, it will JEOPARDIZE the future of our children. This is social engineering plain and simple, it is power grab being thrust upon our nation by power mongering politicians who are run amok completely unchecked and unbalanced (need I remind you this $819 Billion “stimulus” was voted in without ONE single republican vote?). If we allow this to continue without raising our voices, we are complicit in the ultimate demise that will follow. Wether you were fooled into voting this administration into office or not, do NOT allow this to continue to happen. Speak up and be heard…..or prepare to face the consequences.

 

THE RIGHT DIRECTION? – Tax evader Geithner becomes Treasury Secretary and EPA….

Tax evader Timothy Geithner was confirmed today by a vote of 60-34 as U.S. Treasury Secretary . Is this REALLY the change everyone was hoping for? If ANY one of you had not only failed to pay the taxes they owed, but AFTER being informed of your tax obligation decided to write a check for MUCH less than you KNEW you owed, wouldn’t the IRS come after you? Could you expect that some IRS government worker would say “You made an honest mistake, it’s ok…there’s no penalty…”? An HONEST MISTAKE is when you have no idea you have made an error in the first place, Timothy Geithner however was FULLY aware that he was cheating on his taxes….thusly, evading paying his tax obligation. This does NOT sound like a change in the modus operandi of extreme left slanting government corruption, this simply sounds like a change in leadership and nothing more. Well, we have all the brainwashed “Obamamaniacs” to thank for this…one week so far and we have YET to see anything of substance or any real change for the better…just a bunch of window dressing and feel-good policy making.

And speaking of feel-good policy making. Are you aware that Obama has decided to reexamine fuel federal efficiency policies, in effect allowing California to set and mandate their own CAFE standards and giving the EPA even more power than it has already usurped over the last few decades. This in effect would make the automakers strive for even more lofty MPG requirements…loftier than the ones that have already contributed to the higher costs and retooling that contributed to the current state of bankruptcy in the industry. First off is THIS really the time to do this while the Big 3 are floundering, and secondly, will this really HELP the auto industry in the long run, or further cripple it? Obama states that this will help in offering lower income households a choice at buying a more efficient vehicle that will cost less to maintain and drive. But WAIT… that is one of the biggest lies the public has so ineptly swallowed over the last decade or so. In reality these vehicles cost nearly 30% more to manufacture, and that extra expense is passed on to the consumer as a MUCH higher sticker price. Studies have proven that after 8 to10 years of owning and driving this more “efficient” vehicle that the owner MAY have broken even and made up the extra expense of purchasing the vehicle in the first place. THAT is not a savings, that is a break-even proposition…so exactly what is the point of these vehicles. Now, I know you greenies are saying “they are saving the environment” by polluting less. BZZZZZZZZZTT!!…wrong answer. 

In actuality these “eco-friendly” vehicles are taxing our environment and natural resources EVEN MORE. Just as recycling a light bulb requires 3 times more energy than simply making a new one from scratch, and just as Mercury light bulbs (that don’t even emit ample light in the first place) are nearly impossible to dispose of without a biohazard kit, these vehicles, with their electric-cell technology take 3 to 4 times as much energy to produce, they USE more natural resources to manufacture, and are MUCH more difficult to dispose of properly and safely. So, what is the point? FEEL-GOOD policy making is the point…ummm, in other words, window dressing…plain and simple, MORE WINDOW DRESSING! Is ANYONE getting this? Does anyone see what is going on here? LOGIC and REASON are out the window…we are now experiencing a new age of politics…an extreme left, emotionally based, eutopian seeking, socialist striving political regime is now in power. In Obamas words (paraphrased),” Sure I see how we have different ideals, but I WON!”… If those of you who voted to gut our constitution and usher in a new era of socialism aren’t feeling voters remorse yet, give it time… because this is CHANGE YOU’LL SOON REGRET.

ON A SAD NOTE….Obama approves funding for abortion worldwide…

It isn’t surprising, but it is however very alarming. The part that isn’t surprising is that while on the campaign trail Barack Hussein Obama assured Americans that he would support policy aimed at reducing the number of abortions. Of course, as the theme of this surreal stage tragedy has already established, this was yet one more false promise made by a man desperate to inhabit the White House and control policy making in this once great nation of ours. Duped is how MANY should feel…at least those who voted for this silver tongued devil.

Upon conclusion of the “closed door” signing of this act, House speaker Nancy Pelosi D-Calif., (not the sharpest stick in the stack) said the move “will help save lives and empower the poorest women and families to improve their quality of life and their future.” Of course, this can only really be true if one does not believe that an unborn fetus is also a life. The debate over this has been hashed and rehashed…God will have the final say on the day of Judgement. And though I feel that abortion is murder, (an aspect of this policy action which is already upsetting enough by itself) the bill actually gets worse by going one step further in that it also provides funding to other nations who see abortion as simply another alternative tool in their hand-bag arsenal of family planning and birth control tactics. So, we as Americans, those of us who see abortion as murder, will now, through our taxpaying dollars, be funding abortion worldwide! God please forgive us!

And as if ALL of this weren’t hard enough to swallow, as if the dagger weren’t already plunged deep enough, there is another aspect to all of this. Now I will warn you, those of you with a heart, who have children or have nephews and nieces that you love dearly, those of you who cherish the sanctity of life and acknowledge the miracle of it as something that only God has created and that ONLY God should destroy, you may want to sit down…this next part did not only horrify me, as I was standing over the kitchen sink doing dishes and just a couple hours ago I started bawling… I do not exaggerate. I cried for 10 minutes straight at the thought of this. Today, a bio-med research company in California announced plans that they have developed a method by which to harvest and actively test fetal and embryonic stem cells. This means one thing…they will now, with this current administrations blessing, farm, harvest, cut up, place in a petri dish and discard when finished testing, the greatest and most miraculous gift given us all by our Creator. Tiny humans, with little fingers and toes, and a heartbeat….our sweet, innocent, unborn children will be harvested by heartless…dare I say “soul-less” scientists so that they can play the role of god. I’m starting to tear up now… I will never understand this, it is abhorrent. Many will disagree and say that it could give someone a better life, the ability to walk, a cure for Parkinsons or M.S. I say think back to the birth of each of your children, then grab and hug them tightly and look your children SQUARE in the eye and even TRY to think that. I say, let GOD decide…look to Him and let Him decide, not a bunch of labcoats looking for taxpayer backed federal funding all the while pounding their big bang theory, evolution embracing, athiestic chests.

This is it…if nothing before was enough of a red flag or road sign, this is the one that marks the true decline of morality. If we as a nation allow this to happen, if we do NOT say something, if we do not stand against such an atrocity…we are surely doomed. When we as a nation support murder of the innocent, the harvesting of life, the removal of God from our capitol, the halls of justice, public discourse, education and ultimately the home, we will be judged severely and rightfully, and we will deserve every bit that is meded out in rebuke and punishment. Again, Lord please forgive us…please change the hearts and minds of the soulless masses.
